BUSRA CODUROGLU
FOUNDER / INSTRUCTOR
A Brooklyn-based writer and director, Busra has worked on films produced in Turkey and India. Her short film 'PRIDE' has official selection by festivals like Chicago Blow-Up Film Festival and International Izmir Short Film Festival.
She founded Brooklyn Film Academy during her amazing journey into motherhood, to create an international film education center that will help youth across the globe tell their stories.
Busra has a degree in Film Production (B.A.) and Sociology (B.S.) from CUNY Brooklyn College.
GUNSEL PEHLIVAN
INSTRUCTOR
Editor, cinematographer and producer, Gunsel started off her career working in post-production for shows like "Going Deep With David Rees” and “House Hunters International”.
She currently produces and edits videos for lifestyle brands at Time Inc. and is working on a feature length screenplay.
Gunsel has a degree in Media Management, Programming, and Filmmaking (B.A.) from SUNY New Paltz.
